Both components are essential to the functioning of the <\/span><b>non-invasive monitoring model<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> proposed by <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MicroChip4Age<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which is based on <\/span><b>distributed sensors, wireless technologies, and artificial intelligence algorithms<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Custom-built technology for a respectful solution<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the core commitments of the project is to <\/span><b>avoid dependence on generic commercial solutions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, opting instead for <\/span><b>custom-designed and manufactured electronic devices<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This approach ensures <\/span><b>greater adaptability to the real needs of users<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>better integration into home environments<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>full control over functional, aesthetic, and privacy-related aspects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The partnership with <\/span><b>Hardware Me Electronics<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> also enhances the project&#8217;s impact on the national industrial ecosystem, contributing to the <\/span><b>strengthening of Spain\u2019s design and manufacturing capabilities in microelectronics<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, in line with the objectives of the <\/span><b>PERTE CHIP<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> program that funds the initiative.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Protecting without invading, caring without surveillance<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MicroChip4Age is developing a system capable of <\/span><b>detecting activities and behaviors at home without cameras, microphones, or direct interaction<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, thus promoting a <\/span><b>person-centered, ethical, and non-intrusive model of care<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The design and functionality of the devices are key to achieving this respectful integration into users\u2019 daily lives.
