Ja\u00e9n, June 2024<\/b> \u2013 The <\/span>MicroChip4Age<\/b> project, led by the <\/span>ASIA research group<\/b> at the <\/span>University of Ja\u00e9n<\/b>, has reached a new milestone with the incorporation of the prestigious <\/span>Eli Guti\u00e9rrez Studio<\/b> as the official designer of the <\/span>casing for the \u201cpawn\u201d-type device and the smart wristband<\/b> that form part of its <\/span>non-invasive monitoring system<\/b> for older adults and chronic patients.<\/span><\/p>\n

The studio, led by internationally recognized designer <\/span>Eli Guti\u00e9rrez<\/b>, will contribute its expertise in product design, functionality, and aesthetics to achieve a <\/span>technological solution that is respectful, integrative, and user-friendly<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Industrial design in the service of well-being<\/b><\/p>\n

The collaboration with <\/span>Eli Guti\u00e9rrez Studio<\/b> aims to shape devices that are not only functional, but also <\/span>ergonomic, discreet, and visually appealing<\/b>\u2014adapted to daily living environments and designed to <\/span>respect the privacy and autonomy of users<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The casing design is key for the <\/span>proper integration of the electronic components<\/b> developed by <\/span>Hardware Me Electronics<\/b>, and represents an essential step toward <\/span>real-world validation<\/b> of the system, which will soon be deployed in the homes of patients with type 2 diabetes.<\/span><\/p>\n
