Ja\u00e9n, March 2025<\/b> \u2013 The <\/span>MicroChip4Age<\/b> project, funded under the <\/span>PERTE CHIP<\/b> initiative and coordinated by the <\/span>ASIA research group<\/b> at the <\/span>University of Ja\u00e9n<\/b>, has begun work in March on its <\/span>Impact Assessment and Valorization Strategy Report<\/b>. This essential document will evaluate the project\u2019s impact from <\/span>social, technical, and economic perspectives<\/b>, and define the necessary strategies for <\/span>technology transfer, sustainability, and future exploitation<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

A comprehensive analysis to ensure impact and continuity<\/b><\/p>\n

The report is being developed in collaboration with <\/span>UN-EM (Unique and Emerging Markets)<\/b>, a consulting firm specialized in <\/span>research result transfer to the market and innovation processes<\/b>, with over ten years of experience supporting technology transfer offices in Spain and Latin America.<\/span><\/p>\n

This report will serve as a strategic tool to translate the <\/span>technological and scientific achievements of MicroChip4Age<\/b> into <\/span>tangible social and industrial value<\/b>. Its completion is expected by <\/span>July 2025<\/b> and will include an analysis of the project\u2019s benefits in its real-world context\u2014particularly its contribution to improving the quality of life of <\/span>older adults and chronic patients<\/b>. It will also assess the technical progress made, its applicability, market potential, financial sustainability, and the expected return on public investment.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, the report will identify <\/span>technology transfer opportunities<\/b>, potential <\/span>industrial and institutional partners<\/b>, and the most suitable <\/span>market sectors for system deployment<\/b>, both nationally and internationally. It will also include a preliminary <\/span>business plan and commercialization strategy<\/b>, along with <\/span>practical recommendations<\/b> to help capitalize on the results and ensure long-term impact.<\/span><\/p>\n
