Ja\u00e9n, May 2025<\/b> \u2013 Researchers <\/span>David D\u00edaz-Jim\u00e9nez<\/b>, <\/span>Jos\u00e9 Luis L\u00f3pez Ruiz<\/b>, and <\/span>Macarena Espinilla Est\u00e9vez<\/b>, members of the <\/span>MicroChip4Age<\/b> project team at the <\/span>University of Ja\u00e9n<\/b>, together with <\/span>Carlos Fern\u00e1ndez Basso<\/b> from the <\/span>University of Granada<\/b>, have published a new research paper in the prestigious journal <\/span>Information Fusion<\/span><\/i>\u2014one of the world\u2019s leading publications in the field of <\/span>artificial intelligence and data fusion<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The article, titled <\/span>\u201cExtraction of Frequent Behaviours in Activity Recognition Using Fuzzy Processing and Fuzzy Association Rules\u201d<\/span><\/i>, proposes an innovative system that applies <\/span>sensor data fusion<\/b> and <\/span>fuzzy logic<\/b> to identify frequent behavioral patterns in home environments, especially for <\/span>older adults and individuals with chronic conditions<\/b> such as <\/span>type II diabetes<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Interpretable artificial intelligence for smart care<\/b><\/h3>\n
