Reims, July 2025<\/span><\/i> \u2013 As part of an academic event on Fuzzy Logic held in the French city of Reims, some members of the<\/span> ASIA Group<\/b> presented the latest advances of the <\/span>MicroChip4Age<\/b> project. The initiative focuses on developing technological solutions to improve the quality of life for individuals in vulnerable situations\u2014particularly those living with chronic conditions such as diabetes.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Interpretable Technology for the Anticipation of Adverse Events<\/b><\/h3>\n\n

The results were presented by <\/span>Ms. Carmen Mart\u00ednez Cruz<\/b> and <\/span>Mr. Juan Francisco Gait\u00e1n Guerrero<\/b>, researchers from the UJA\u2019s <\/span>ASIA Group (TIC-257)<\/b>. They shared progress on a software system designed for people with diabetes, which aims to anticipate adverse events through interpretable methods. These techniques allow both patients and healthcare professionals to better understand how the system works and to make more informed decisions.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

A Meaningful Gathering: Strengthening International Collaboration<\/b><\/h3>\n\n

The forum also served as a space to reconnect with key international collaborators, including <\/span>Professors Mihail Popescu and James Keller<\/b> from the <\/span>University of Missouri<\/b>.
